Für unseren Kunden, einem international tätigen Konzern im Bereich Elektrotechnik, suchen wir engagierte Mitarbeiter für die Position On-Site Support IT Engineer - Specialist
Positionsbeschreibung:
The On-Site Support Engineer is responsible to support Company’s workplace and infrastructure equipment (including network related ones) physically on-location at our facility in Vienna.
What you will do:
Provide Desk Side support services to end users when incidents cannot be resolved remotely through the Service Desk
Provide Hardware Break & Fix support services to end users when hardware incidents need a replacement of defective whole unit by an equivalent one
Provide Asset Tracking services for workplace equipment. Assure Configuration Management Database is updated
Provide Hands-On support to operate technical tasks requests on infrastructure equipment, and under control of the remote administration team
Deploy and manage non-network attached printers, local storage devices and miscellaneous peripherals
Provide physical on-site and/or remote support services for end users in remote locations
Provide on-site support for any activities for server maintenance upgrades
Provide L1 support for audio/ visual equipment
Provide technical support for special events such as annual meetings, Board meetings, training sessions, for both internal/external end users
Perform and support hardware and software install, updates and downloads for desktops, laptops, smart phones/tablets and other mutually agreed and defined devices
Coordinate with external vendors for service to location infrastructure components
Provide installation /relocation /disposal of network printers
What is helpful to be successful in this role:
Experience with end user IT support, SLAs, customer satisfaction metrics
Familiarity with ITSM tools such as: Jira, ServiceNow, Remedy or similar
Interest and experience in Networking: TCP/IP, basic scripting (Powershell, Visual Basic, C++ or similar)
Overview and/or experience with IT security technologies: firewall, antivirus, end user security in general
Fluency in English and German (Speaking, Writing, Reading)
Overall technical understanding of, interest in and natural willingness to constantly learn about IT platforms and services (e.g. networking, hardware, web development, app development, cloud computing, etc.)
Innovative and creative, quickly takes initiative
Nice to have:
Microsoft certified professional
SCCM, AD, McAfee, MS Outlook, Office 365
